ALEKSANDRA LYONS

Aleksandra Lyons (Aleks) has been engaged for a few decades in commercial and multi-family real estate. After graduating from the University of Texas, Austin, she worked for First Austin Properties, a commercial real estate firm, then broke off with a few partners who became regional real estate developers, asset and property managers. Thereafter, she moved to California, obtained her real estate license and worked for a few companies including for Western National, a developer and REIT of tens of thousands of multi-family units. At Western National, Aleks was a director of acquisitions.

In or about 2008, Aleks joined Tahiti Partners to acquire and partner on several distressed real estate properties and to create a substantial portfolio of producing assets, selling some and building out and stabilizing others. Among other achievements respecting these assets, Aleks helped Tahiti Partners successfully complete the development of a high-profile mixed-use project in Palm Springs called Oceo, which consists of 25 townhomes, 9 single-family homes, and a 6,000 square foot commercial building; the commercial building is 100% leased.

She also assisted successfully completing the development and stabilization of a 25,000 sf medical office building in Cypress, California, which is 100% leased including 50% to United Healthcare and PIH Healthcare, and successfully assisted completing the development and construction of a 38,000 sf office building leased to the County of Riverside and four plus acres of finished commercial pads.

Tahiti Partners sold the office building to a family office at a substantial profit. Also, Aleks helped Tahiti Partners successfully purchase, greatly renovate, stabilize and then sell approximately 600 apartment units in Tulsa, OK.

In her spare time, Aleks enjoys writing novels and screenplays, has successfully wrote and produced a feature film, The Inner Circle (2005), sold several screenplays, and published several novels. She has recently co-written a show for television, which is in development.

LARRY DODSON

Larry Dodson is currently heading construction matters for Tahiti Partners including overseeing construction of its 32 apartment homes called Vista Serena in Riverside County, CA.   Larry is also handling other construction and renovation projects for Tahiti Partners including assisting Tahiti Partners obtain approval of 122 units in San Bernardino County and a 41,000 commercial project in the Coachella Valley.  Larry has been a licensed General Contractor with the State of California since the year 2000 and has completed numerous new and renovation projects, mostly residential projects.  Larry has a Bachelor's degree in liberal arts with a math minor.  He graduated Summa Cum Laude.

Our Creative Founders.

Tahiti Partners was formed in the late 1990s, the culmination of many years of acquisitions, development and management by its principals in independent partnerships.  Since its start, Tahiti Partners and its principals have acquired, sold, developed and managed more than $500MM in real estate projects through various Tahiti Partners and Centre Urban companies.  Presently, the primary companies consist of development and asset management under Tahiti Partners Properties Corporation, construction and renovations under Centre Urban Builders, Inc., and brokerage and property management under International Management Corp. and Evolution Management Corp.  Tahiti Partners and its affiliates provide solutions for a wide range of commercial real estate investments and strategies.

Geoff

Tahiti Partners’ principal heading acquisitions, development and management is Geoffrey S. Payne.  Geoff is a licensed attorney and broker and, in addition to leading the Tahiti Partners’ affiliated companies and partnerships, he has closed billions of dollars of real estate and financing transactions including more than 40,000 apartment units.  After being engaged in his early career in accounting and finance, he obtained his JD and has taught and been a speaker at real estate symposiums including for IREM, BOMA and the State Bar of California and he has written articles on real estate transactions and leasing.
